if your talking just going on the xbox live then no as they pulled the plug i believe not to far into the 360's start. Now there is a way to go and play online still but thats above my type grade.

Xbox Live for the original Xbox was disconnected back in 2010, however LAN multiplayer will still work. There used to be a way to play online after 2010, I think it was called XBConnect, but it seems to be dead now.

No Xbox Live but System Link play with others from around the world is still alive for the ogXbox -- XLink Kai. Signup for free, download and install the software for your PC: Windows or Linux, Mac or Raspberry PI.

Xbox Kai Fam plays a different system link game every Saturday night @ 8:30 PM EST. For EU users as the time's a bit late for most, there's gaming sessions every other Friday night @ 8:30 PM CEST.

Today's EU gaming night is currently in play -- 2.5 hours in so may be over.

This Saturday, 9/23 8:30PM EST, join the mayhem in Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix.

Join the fun. Xbox Kai Fam Discord server: invite.

For more information and events calendar, visit SixthGenGaming.

P.S. Start impromptu sessions using the #gametimeplanning channel to invite others to play your favorite system link games.

Just call them what they are: cheaters. Don't water down the term hacker by describing every ███hole with a script pasteboard and a lag switch as one. Anywho, the good thing about smaller online communities is that cheaters tend to get booted hard. Remember, if you really want to have fun banning people for cheating in games, do it TWO SUBNETS DEEP, so they can't bypass the ban by changing their router's MAC address.
