NeoGeo CD style controllers (USB)?

Some of you may not understand why I would want to use this type of controller, so let me explain...

I have the NeoGeo X Gold and I really enjoy the clickiness of the direction pad on the handheld, its like a analog stick with feedback (quite honestly it gives me a boner and is incredibly satisfying with fighting games ).



I built a custom $250 - $300 universal fightstick with a Sanwa stick + mods with Sanwa buttons, and I have many controllers but none of them scratch the itch like the NeoGeo CD style controller would, I know one was released for the PS2 but there's no way I'm paying $100 for a simple controller and its not even USB.

Is there any controllers out there with this style thumbstick?, it has to be USB because I'd be using it with Retropie (NeoGeo games).

Ebay has them and I found a NeoGeo stick controller that has USB for only $65 shipped, brand new.

Just search “neo geo x arcade usb” and you should see several. I cannot vouch for the quality or if they are actual neogeo built controllers or knockoffs but they are usb and are cheaper than the $100 you quoted.

Legit microswitches in the D-pad/joystick thing, and all the face/shoulder buttons too.
and it's USB wired, so no need for batteries!

A stick wasn't what I was going for, I have a nice one that I built that would work just fine. Those are legit Neo Geo X arcade sticks but they are only licensed by SNK and made by a different company for the Neo Geo X which is an emulation console made by the same company (Tommo I think), they go for about $30 to $40 on Amazon brand new.

As for quality they feel light and really plasticy, they're okay for what they were intended for but they aren't anywhere near original Neo Geo arcade sticks in terms of quality.
