Xbox Live Arcade disc help

Postby DashingRhythm » Tue Mar 20, 2018 7:33 am

To be blunt, I installed the games from the Xbox Live Arcade disc (not ftp, via disc) incorrectly and now they don't work (see attached pic). I read a guide on here on how to install the games correctly but my issue now is how do I actually uninstall them? I tried deleting the Xbox Live Arcade discs save file via Xbmcs save data manager but that doesn't actually delete the games.

Use file explorer which should be in your menus somewhere to delete it. Just be careful and don't delete anything you shouldn't.

The games are saved in the TDATA folder, not UDATA folder. If installing them from the disc they'll be demo versions. To unlock them, they required an Xbox Live account (offline 4 years now for ogXbox) to authenticate the games which stored a key to the HDD that allowed them to run. There is an installer available that installs a key too, however, the graphic still shows the game as a demo but it is fully unlocked. However, the games saved their scores on Xbox Live not locally. :(

Don't use XBMC's saved data manager but the File Manager. Hmm, I don't even find the saved data manager in XBMC4Xbox v3.5.3.

In the File Manager, browse to highlight E:\TDATA\4d5300c8 and delete the folder do the same for E:\UDATA\4d5300c8
