Try this http://theisozone.com/downloads/xbox/tools/c-xboxtool207/
Just open cxbox tool and then drag, ISO into the window then click extract ISO.
It will leave you with a folder (eg. Halo 2) which will contain all of the games files, including the .xbe

Just FTP the whole folder into your E:/Games or F:/Games

the xbe is the exe for the xbox game or the "execute" file.

You can convert xbox iso's to a folder which you can then ftp to your xbox. I use cxbox tool to create game folders from xbox isos.

You could burn the iso to a dvd-r and then copy it to your hd or just play it off the disk also after the xbox is modded.

qwix will also do it for you.

you can actually extract and ftp to the xbox in 1 step with qwix.

qwix or cxboxtool will do it for you.
to confirm what you hinted too, you CAN NOT just ftp the .iso file to the xbox.
They will not play.

they have to be extracted and then ftp'd over.

An Xbox actually reads an Xiso, which is an iso specifically formatted for Xbox. Programs like qwix, c-tools, or craxtion (my fav) can read/extract these files.

i use UltraISO right click the Xbox iso and select extract to here and it makes a folder with all files in it, then FTP it to Xbox with filezilla....

Aslo might want to add this program is also used to convert CD based PS2 games to DVD and changes booktype and allows ESR patching.

Also provides virtual drives.

So i used it for multiple systems.

PowerISO that's all you need to mount any ISO.

A question isn't stupid if you haven't heard the answer to that question yet.

Everything you need to know has already been said. Just download a game from here. Extract with winrar, use qwix or cboxtool to convert the iso to the proper format and ftp to your hd.

If its running NKPatcher 10 it can use games in ISO format, pretty buggy and was ditched in 11 and 12 but did work to a pretty good degree.
