Laptop Trouble

Postby ChunLiGloss » Thu Jul 12, 2018 1:29 am

I'm not sure if I have posted this problem in the right place or not. If I haven't please forgive me.

I have a Sony Vaio and just over the last few months I have been receiving a message stating that the server is busy message. I looked this up on Google and tried removing different programs to no avail. I'm not sure what else to. will someone please help me?

What's the model number and what OS are you running? What program says the server is busy?

Sounds to me as if something in the background is trying to update.

You should be able to disable all extra apps in the startup settings then turn them on one at a time and reboot afterwards to test them.

Spybot Search and Destroy 1.62 (FREE)
CCleaner (Free)

Install Spybot S&D,
Update
Immunize
Scan
Remove

simple as that !
Advanced :
Click the MODE Tab and select Advanced, click YES
Click TOOLS
Tick all boxes except for Bug Report
You'll now have icons on left panel.
Click HOSTS File
Click Add Spybot's host file

You just blocked a ton of nasty stuff at IP Address level :)

=========================================================================
CCleaner,
Install
In left pane, scroll down the list till you get to SYSTEM
Tick DNS Cache
Analyse or just Run
Anything this program finds in junk and all can be removed without problems

FreeFirewall - Exactly what it says on the tin. Better than Win7 Firewall, can't compare 8 onwards as I don't own the OS's
Can be a little bit of a pain to configure but stops all unauthorised access from your PC, and it's Free!

Spybot 1.62 is a must, it's Immunization methods stop a ton of malware/bad pages and bots connecting to your PC

Every user of TiZ/RZ should use these tools regular !

All the software above has alot more things to can do, have a look through stuff. Not sure, ignore it !
The main points are that these softwares are safe and free

Spybot v2
Now I am not a fan of this software as most of my PC's hardware sux.... I find the software to disjointed, and prefer v1.62. End of the day, I'm not out to dis the v2 software, personal choice
Download and see what you think, both use same databases
