REVIEW FROM GAMEFAQS:-

"The mysterious ONE PIECE"

Summary - One Piece is a anime that started back in 2001, I know it was a manga first. But anyway it stars a boy that's on his way to become the pirate king Monkey D. Luffy, and his pirate crew consisting of a 3 sword swordsman, a thief/navigator, a liar/sharpshooter, and a cook/martial artist. All on their way to the Grand Line were a legendary pirate king hid the ultimate treasure ONE PIECE.
Graphics - First don't expect anything to great or grand but for it's time......all right it isn't all that pretty. But the characters sport really nice details such as when Zoro(the 3 sword swordsman) pulls out his swords you actually see him pull them out of their sheaths. The background and the stages on the other hand are not that nice looking though, they lack detail but this game shouldn't be put down because of graphics anyway.
Sound - The opening song ”we are” is awesome especially if you imported the anime, but most of the in game music is pretty bland and not memorable at all, but music is not that important in a fighting game.
Game Play - One Piece Grand Battle is a basic one on one fighting game, but it is set up like Super Smash Brothers. It's basic 2-d game play with different levels you can jump to and items you can throw at each other. The actual fighting is sub par you have one attack button (circle), one jump button (triangle), one throw button (square), a block button (X), and a special button (L1 or R1). Each character has at least one special move that is done really easily, if you ever played Naruto: Narutimate Hero the specials can be done by pressing one or two buttons, usually the special button plus another.
Replay - There are lot's of characters, movies, and a few other things that any fan of one piece will like.
Overall - It's basically a game for fans of the series it's an all right fighting game that can last quite awhile, but if you were looking into just importing a fighting game and no knowledge of one piece you most likely will not like it.
