Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine [PC]
--- Info adapted and rearranged from Wikipedia.org and Mobygames.com ---
Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine is a multi-platform action-adventure video game by LucasArts released in late 1999.
The year is 1947. Dr. Jones Jr is on a retirement from adventuring, living the life of a scholar and an archaeologist. But soon he meets his old flame ...and new enemies.
Are you ready to lead Indy into adventures in lost temples, under mountains and through unexplored mines, for tales of missing artifacts, snake encounters and other things?
Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine combined action and adventure in a way the older Indy games did not. The gameplay is inspired by Tomb Raider, and so it focuses on solving puzzles and discovering treasures.
The valuable treasures you find can be used to buy extra ammo (between the levels).
Furthermore, several human, animal and supernatural enemies are encountered during the course of the game, which the player can fight off with numerous firearms, the aforementioned whip, and a machete...
Puzzles based around switches & items; precise jumping must be negotiated on regular basis. You must use ladders, ropes and dinghies as well as moving on foot. You will also find yourself aboard a jeep, a mine cart... and you'll do some rafting aswell.

Unpack/Extract the Downloaded 7Zip File. You will get four RAR Files. Unpack/Extract those aswell (if it asks to overwrite, say "YES", it's a duplicate File). Now you have 2 ISO Files (CD1 and CD2), a No-CD Crack and an Update-Patch.
Mount the File "indy1.iso" in a Virtual Drive (or Burn it as a CD). Install the Game (take not of the Folder/Directory it is Installing). When it asks for "CD2" or "Disk2" just Un-mount the "indy1.iso" and Mount the File "indy2.iso" (or remove CD1 from the Drive and insert CD2).
In the end of the Installation, double-click on "J3DUpdate102.exe" to Update the Game. Then, copy the no-CD Crack "Jones3d.exe" to where the Game was Installed (answer "YES" to the overwrite Question).

The game was originally designed to work on pre-WindowsXP systems (Win95-98), and as such may cause problems when running in WinXP. An unofficial workaround for most of those problems has been discovered:
When the player keeps an open instance of "Microsoft Windows Media Player" in the background while running the game, it runs correctly, although another bug may still occur and crash the game if the player tries to use explosive weapons such as the bazooka. Note that this workaround may not work on all systems.
Curiously on "Windows Vista" the game works perfectly, and it should also work in "Win 7".
