Have no fear my bored ass is here!! I am making a BETA-4 with prefetch, custom BIOS, and overclocked to see how it plays now. If acceptable I will pass along to the Don and see if we can release it as RDC or I will do a personal post for all you non-SD users. That video gave some promise again to me and has me intrigued.

No saving as AES games don't have a save feature, besides why would you need it for a fighting game? Anyhow I am on my fourth build and disc and it isn't looking to promising even when using a hardware overclock on my actual DC. I will post the best of them just for shits and gigs but it will not be an RDC game I can tell you that much. I have the overclock just right now I am just trying to get the frameskip to an acceptable place.

This game is rather large for the NeoGeo, the ROM comes in at over 80mb and the DC only has a total of 26mb of RAM see a problem here? Normally the whole ROM is loaded onto the RAM at once but this can't happen with this or several other AES games like Waku Waku 7. The build i have made is LEAPS above the one on this site that is for sure but it isn't smooth as silk like I would like it to be.

Well guys here is what it comes down to I have one more trick I am going to try then if it doesn't work better there won't be a standalone version. I will however make one with sound and the selection screen so you can adjust the settings as you see fit, I will also make a no sound version to see how that pans out as well. Fingers crossed!! sort of but this may have a selection screen for the ROM so you can edit the cfg file as needed and turn sound on or off.

AES games did have save functions. My console and Neo Geo Arcade machines take Neo Geo memory cards. You could play the game on the console and save and continue in the arcade. So it actually depends on the game.

AES4ALL doesn't have save and this game isn't one that needs it, and i am burning my last attempt for the night.

With the fighting games you could save collecter cards and different outfits and look at them at home on your console. I understand the emu might not have save function.

Well I didn't get playable results so I am going to make a version with selection screen and that way you all can figure out your sweet spots and play. That is going to have to be morning though I need some needed sleep.

I have a selfboot copy i can upload for people to play with. I've had it for a few years but it suffers from the same problems in the video and as atreyu187 says above. Im ripping a copy of the cd i had burnt. If you want it let me know. Otherwise best to wait till the morning for atreyu187's version as it will be better optimised.

Sorry, I must be dumb. There are 2 files : .aes & .pfr . It's written for use with SD meaning SD iso right ? I'd like to try it . So who knows how to play .aes & .pfr with dreamshell? Thx for any of your anwers. Peace.

Neo4all_aes must be performed in binary and not the iso.
Download Neo4all_aes: http://chui.dcemu.co.uk/aes4all.html
Take Neo_aes.bin and the folder and put it in your SD.

as i only own a cdz i will be really keeping my eyes on this as i use my dreamcast alot for games that never came out on the neo geo cd i.e fatal fury mark of the wolfs ect so im with hardak on this one fingers crossed lol....

@Alexsandro : I made it work , I had put folders into folders and taht's the reason why I could'nt run it. Great improvements since the cdi version released with the previous beta. It's playable now. I really hope it could get full speed. Keep up the good work and go for it !
